I am not into the old eBay thing, but I have to agree re second-hand kids' clothes. Absolutely nothing wrong in them. Even though I was the of my generation in the family, I have worn my share of em, and at least half the stuff my son wore came from his English cousins. In fact, at 12 he has only just grown out of a Fred Bloggs (??) t-shirt that was once the property of my nephew (now 23). And in turn, the stuff he grew out of was passed on to cousins, friends, etc.

And DON'T get me started on the "Yummy Mummies" (the very phrase is simultaneously so smug it gets me face-slapping hand itch like mad, AND - if you think about it - a wee bit demeaning). It sometimes seems that some kids were born, in order to provide the ultimate accessory for oh-so-effin-perfect Mum! And heaven forbid if that kid turns out to be a little porker or have the face of a surprised bulldog!!

Anyway, as usual, we seem to be on the same wavelength (always a relief to know I'm not alone), so I shall resist the urge to go on (and on, and on, and on.... ad nauseum).
