Ohh forgot, in the midst of my last tantrum. I saw an awful pro-BNP television cartoon recently aimed at kids. The puppet spouted this great long poem about Bow-di-seer (Boo-dica numb nuts) and how she fought for England against the invading roman army. The final line was “and Bow-di-seer was white”.
She might have been, but she sure was an Angle and her family came here by boat from Europe.

Nick Griffin is a horrible, objectional man, who got lucky because the major party’s have utterly f*cked up recently. He’s now appeared on question time and as you rightly said, is now trying to make out his is some kind of free-speach martyr.
We’re all bl**dy imigrants if you go back far enough. We each statistically descend from a single group of 20,000 people who left Africa a few hundred thousand years ago. Not only that, unless you have lived in the bottom of a hole since them somewhere in Watford, you are going to have some more recent imigrant blood in you. In addition, at least one in 15 children are being brought up by someone who they might think is their biological parent, but isn’t. So tell me Mr Griffin, if you think you are so British, go on “Who do you think you are” and proove it.

I agree. The angry mob is a dangerous one, and seems to be premised on the idea that if you expose the public to the ideas of a particular party, they will uniformly become infected by the views of the BNP.

The thing is, the BNP should drop the letter ‘N’ from its abbreviation. ‘N’ is a universal variable and has no place in right wing politics. It then leaves the BNP with the name ‘BP’. This would result in a large petro-chemical explosion.

I rest my case.

You appear to be, even in my befuddled state, right on the money. Let him talk, he won’t get anywhere. I worry that the really bad guys are letting him be the poster-boy patsy for racist hatred, while they scuttle around in the background.

Damn you John Stuart Mill! We have if the consequences of that appearance warrant it. Griffin has a criminal conviction for inciting racial hatred. As citizens (and fee-payers to an institution (the BBC)) that want to promote multiculturalism, understanding and interacial swinger parties we have an obligation to refuse a platform for people who’s sole aim is to incite division. Democracies tolerate divergent views, not neccesarilly respect them.

All intelligent people know this anyway. He wont ‘hang himself with his own words’ as many believe, because you either agree with griffin or not. As Hain has said, the problem is that to many working class (ie poorly educated) white voters he is now a ‘mainstream politician’ of a mainstream party rather than a shaved owl leading a marginal group of assorted bigots and twats. Also, as he’s in opposition to the major parties (who everybody hates ‘cos of expenses, the war etc) he will be seen as ‘my enemy’s enemy’ ergo my friend.
I think the BBC were just out for the ratings IMO
